June Meeting update

OK, it's time to turn this blog loose to do its work helping our members prepare for meetings and displaying pictures. I was unable to attend most of last month's meeting due to work, but someone had mentioned we were doing Naval as the theme last month. Checking our printed schedule, however, I see that last month was supposed to be "Lend Lease" and June is "Naval"!

I better get the word out!

New Blog Site for Southern Front!

Welcome to the new blog for the Southern Front. We're a small group of plastic kit modelers living in and around Utah County, south of Salt Lake City, Utah. We are members of the SLC-IPMS club, which meets on the second Tuesday of each month up in Salt Lake City. With the rising cost of gas and the time it takes to reach the SLC meeting, some of the members wanted to meet monthly as well (or in place of) down in Utah County.

So far there are about a dozen members who meet on the third Tuesday of each month (except December) at Central Elementary School in Pleasant Grove, at about 7:30 pm. We like to bring finished models, new kits, and current projects to discuss modeling and share modeling tips.
